Meet the Team

Jess is our fearless leader here. She started Toronto Counselling Centre for Teens when her youngest was just a baby and now her kids are entering their teenage years themselves. As she loves teens, she’s pretty excited to be in this stage of family life.

Jess has a passion for young people and families. She sees it as her mission in life to empower teens and families to connect and feel great about themselves and one another. She wants families to be warmly welcomed here.

If you get Jess talking about her philosophy of leadership, you’ll find out she is a total nerd on that subject and can talk about it for a loooong time. Two of the ways her leadership nerdiness can be felt here are:

1) She wants the practitioners here to continually grow, so that they will excel at caring for your teen and family. Her goal as our leader is to give the practitioners here ongoing training in cutting edge therapeutic approaches. This means that with us you’ll have the best of what the field has to offer.

And 2) She’s also intentional about creating an environment here where the team can be seen, known, heard, and understood. To Jess, this seems like the right way to live and work, but it also means the practitioners will then replicate the experience of being seen, known, heard, and understood for everyone who comes here for our services.
